Charles Trip Johnson

Mr. Johnson has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in Georgia personal injury cases since 1991.  He now focuses exclusively on helping seriously injured individuals recover maximum money damages for their claims.  Mr. Johnson graduated from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee in 1988 and Emory Law School in 1991.  He is a lifelong resident of Atlanta, Georgia and graduated from The Westminster Schools in 1984.  Trip began his legal career with a law firm in Macon, Georgia until moving back home in 1997 to work for Travelers Insurance Company as an in-house insurance defense attorney. For over a decade, "Trip" defended doctors, construction companies, trucking companies and various other businesses and individuals against claims brought by injured persons. Now his practice is 100% dedicated to helping the victims of negligence. 

Mr. Johnson now uses his insurance defense experience to help his injured clients recover full compensation for their claims.  His experience working for the insurance industry has given him a unique insight into the claims process, and provides a substantial advantage for his clients. 

PERSONAL

Trip has been married to Michelle W. Johnson (a partner in the law firm of Nelson, Mullins, Riley & Scarborough LLP) since 1991.  They have two children (Emily, age 13 and Daniel, age 8) who attend the Lovett School.  The Johnsons live in the Buckhead neighborhood of Atlanta, and are members of Northside United Methodist Church.
